• Taro is the first Sole Survivor to play a Perfect Game, having no votes cast against him and receiving every jury vote.
• Taro is the fourth LGBT contestant to play Survivor Fan Characters, following Rene, Norman, and Starr.
  • He is also the first and currently only LGBT contestant to be Sole Survivor.
• Taro is the fourth of four people to reach the final tribal council with no votes against them.
  • The others being; Luke, Miranda, and Spongebob
  • Taro is the only one to become Sole Survivor.
